Viewing Audit Trail of a Document

Audit Trail refers to the information on the record that tracks a transaction from the beginning to the end, making it possible to review whether it was done according to relevant policies and standards.

In KRIS, we value the importance and the integrity of the documents as these are important intellectual assets of the organization. With the complete audit trail captured in KRIS, we can ensure that compliance with organization standards and procedures is made possible to be reviewed and monitored with accurate data. This in turn also ensure the authenticity, reliability and integrity of the documents registered in KRIS.

To view the audit trail of a document,

  1. Mouse over the Action icon followed by the View Details option  of a document from any Document or Search Results tables in page.
  2. Click on History tab inside the Document Profile of the document.

Note: The following information will be displayed:

  • Date – Date of action.
  • Time – Time of action.
  • Action – Action performed. For e.g. New Document, View, Edit etc.
  • Version No. – The document version the action was performed on.
  • User – User performing the action.
  •  Author – Author of the version .
