Searching in KRIS Administrator Module

Search function is available to both System and User Administrators and the search result is filtered according to the admin point that the administrator is managing. For e.g. Sally, whom is the user administrator, is managing HR department and HR related classifications as defined in the KRIS Administrative Roles Management. When Sally searches for “HR” , the system will only display the search results that are found under the admin point manage by Sally. To search for an object in KRIS Administrator module,

  1. Login as System/User Administrator
  2. Click on Module Switcher at the top bar and select KRIS Administrator module.
  3. Input the search term in the Search Box and hit “Enter“.     
  4. The system will do an universal search across the system and display all the items that match the search term. Click on All Types drop down field and select which result types that you want to filter. 

Searching for Roles

KRIS will search input term based on Role Name and Role Description.

To look for Roles in the Search Result list,

  1. In the Search Results, click on All Types drop down field and select Role option.  Or you can also click on the See All (X) link .   
  2. In the Role Search Result List, you can further refine the list to look for roles with certain Security Grading by clicking on the All Security Grading dropdown box.
  3. You can also filter a list of roles with different Mandatory Filing status by clicking on the Mandatory Filing : All dropdown box. 
  4. Click on the search item (for e.g. Demo Role) to access its details. 

Searching for Group Roles

KRIS will search input term based on Group Role Name, Group Role Description and Security Grading

To look for Group Roles in the Search Result list,

  1. In the Search Results, click on All Types drop down field and select Group Role option.  Or you can also click on the See All (X) link.
  2. In the Group Role Search Result List, you can further refine the list to look for group roles with certain Security Grading by clicking on the All Security Grading dropdown box.
  3. Click on the search item to access its details.

 

Searching for Subject / Cabinets

KRIS will search input term based on Subject/Cabinet, Description, Security Grading, Subject Officer and Covering Subject Officer.

To look for Subject / Cabinet in the Search Result list,

  1. In the Search Results, click on All Types drop down field and select Subject / Cabinet option.  Or you can also click on the See All (X) link.
  2. In the Subject / Cabinet Search Result List, you can further refine the list by filtering  certain Security Grading by clicking on the All Security Grading dropdown box.
  3. You can also refine the search result with Any Subject Officer dropdown box to look for
  4. To refine the search result by tags or untagged items, click on the last text box.   
  5. Click on the search item to access its details.

 

Searching for File References / Case Series

KRIS will search input term based on File Reference No, File Reference Titles, Cabinet/Subject, Status and Security Grading

To look for File References / Case Series in the Search Result list,

  1. In the Search Results, click on All Types drop down field and select File Reference option.  Or you can also click on the See All (X) link.
  2. In the File Reference Search Result List, you can further refine the list by filtering  certain Security Grading by clicking on the All Security Grading dropdown box.
  3. To refine the search result by tags or untagged items, click on the last text box. 

Searching for Case References (aka Case Files)

KRIS will search input term based on Case Reference No, Case Reference Titles, File No, Cabinet/Subject and Status 

To look for Case Reference in the Search Result list,

  1. In the Search Results, click on All Types drop down field and select Case Reference option.  Or you can also click on the See All (X) link.
  2. In the Case Reference Search Result List, you can further refine the list by filtering  certain Security Grading by clicking on the All Security Grading dropdown box.
