Managing Tags

The Tag Administration is the management of the master list of the different tags in KRIS.

Creating a New Tag

1. Login as System Administrator
2. Click on Module Switcher at the top bar and select KRIS Administrator module.
3. Click on Tag Administration under Control Panel section.
4. Enter the name of the new tag.                                                                                                                                             
5. Click on the Add button to add new tag.

A new tag will be inserted in the Tag table with the following action button and icon.

• – To update the name of the tag.
• – To delete the tag.
  • You cannot delete the tag if it is already being used.

Merging Tags

This Merge Tags function allows administrator to review and combine tags of similar nature in order to maintain a list of relevant tags consistently.

1. Login as System Administrator
2. Click on Module Switcher at the top bar and select KRIS Administrator module.
3. Click on Tag Administration under Control Panel section.
4. Select the tags that you want to merge to form a new tag.
5. Click on Merge Tags option.                                                                                                                           
6. Enter the new tag name for the merged tags.                                                                                                 
7. Click on Merge button.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The previous selected tags are replaced by the new tag successfully and the Tagged Items count from the previous selected tags will be added together as number for new tag.
