Filing a Draft Document

The Draft Record is only visible to you and the one you are filing on behalf of. As a working document in the system, it allows you to edit and create document version at your own pace anytime. And you can only need to click publish when it is ready for publishing, and the system will automatically convert it into an official record for other users to access.

As a Draft Record, you get full control of the record as it can only be accessible by your own self.

Filing a Draft Document

  1. Click on New > Electronic Record  on Action Menu or  New Document button on the Dashboard.       
  2. A profile form for defining the metadata will be displayed and the most of the below mandatory fields auto populated,     
  3. Click on the Upload icon at the Document To be Filed field and select a document from your system.
  4. Click Save As Draft button to upload the document.

Information

Each Draft Document registered into KRIS will be assigned to unique identifier which is known as Draft Document Number. The Document Number format follows the convention File Ref No (aka Folder ID) / Draft Running No. For instance, ACC-001/Draft 1 where it indicate that this is the first document in File Reference ACC-001.
