Save time and get more work done with a brand-new intuitive KRIS!

A) Improved E-Submission module
    • New interface & navigation.
    • Requestors can now withdraw their submissions for rework/updates (only if no action officers has worked on it).
    • Routing profile is now displayed clearly so that you can easily see the status of a submission.
    • The new comment tab displays all comments in a list (previously it was displayed in the trail of events).
    • New copy function which enables you to duplicate submissions.
B) Document viewer feature
    • Enables the viewing of documents directly in KRIS without having to download. Additionally, you’re now able to search within a document.
C) Drag and drop documents
    • Drag and drop documents directly into Record Manager or E-submission module for ease of uploading.
D) Filter search results
    • Filter your Universal Search results by: Type of Search (e.g Documents, File or Case Files), Search Method (content, keywords, title or etc), Last Activity Date, Search Within Result
    • Administrator User can also search across the Roles, Subject and Cabinet and File Reference. Filter options are available for you to narrow down the Search Result according to: Types and Security Grading.
E) Improved presentation of data/information of documents & records in KRIS for users
    • Document counter shows no. of document sin the in the Related documents tab.
    • Attachments are now grouped in the Document Table of the main record.
    • When using SMO to file emails into KRIS, information such as email address and user name is recorded as metadata.
F) Filing password protected documents into KRIS
    • Upon uploading a password protected document, KRIS will detect & prompt users to decrypt it before filing. KRIS will auto decrypt file for future viewing as well.
    • However, if user is aware that the document they are filing is password protected, they can identify to decrypt it before filing.
G) The Record Library is now in the Record Manager module
H) Request file access for other users
    • Enables users to request for file access for other users who do not access.
    • Access period can be configured in the request to be routef to Subject Officer / Administrator for approval and automatically assigned exceptional access once approved.
I) Improved User Management module
    • The entire User Management module is now moved to KRIS Administrator – Manage Organization Structure section.
    • Managing users is now easier with:
      • Last Login & Disabled Date details are now displayed.
      • Setting user access type/role directly through the Edit User function.
      • System Administrator can now configure expiry dates for user accounts i.e. Contract Staff or Interns. Upon the end of validity period, the account will be disabled. Once user is disabled, it means that the user will have no access throughout the system. Once an admin user is disabled, it will be converted to a normal user account.
    • User Administrator can now edit Subject Officers & assign Covering Officer to a Subject through the Subject properties.
K) New reports for Admin Users
    • Consolidated report module shows all reports from KRIS Administrator and E-submission modules.
    • However, depending on Administrator Type (i.e. User Admin, System Admin and/or Workflow Admin), users will see different types of reports.
    • Types of new reports available:
      • User Login Failed Report: records all failed login attempts to the KRIS System for security and audit purpose.
      • List Of Users And Their Roles Report: records all the roles that the each user is holding.
      • Inactive File Reference Report: lists down the file references that do not any activities for e.g. filing , viewing and etc based on the Last Activity Date selected.
      • List of Active Users without and Role Report: lists down all the exceptional access given to assist with the reviewing of the access rights.
      • Files Due for Disposal Report: lists down all the file references that are due for archival based on their disposal action.
L) Improved UI/UX for KRIS Admin Users
    • File Reference treeview now displays file title together with the file no. for ease of reference.
    • System Administrator can only see the records managed by him / her in the List Documents Marked for Delete
