Quicker Access to KRIS, New Way of Document Storage & New Report
Login into KRIS is more convenient now with SAML 2.0 Single-Sign On! Documents are now stored in database (for new customers only), which will notify you whenever a malicious document is detected. Plus, we have also introduce a new report to help you track the number of documents filed monthly.
Introducing Single-Sign On (SSO) for Quicker Login to KRIS
- Users can log into KRIS using the same credential provided by their organization.
- This means users will only need to remember one password to access KRIS, thus reducing password fatigue.
- It also helps the IT department to simplify credential management as they will only need to remove one set of credential.
- KRIS supports SAML 2.0^, OpenID Connect* and Social Logins protocols.
- To enable SSO, your organization’s identity provider (IDP) should support the above protocols.
- Here are some examples of compatible identity providers and social logins (non-exhaustive):
^SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) 2.0 is an XML-based open-standard for transferring identity data between two parties: an identity provider (IDP) and a service provider (SP).
*OpenID Connect is an identity layer on top of OAuth 2.0 which allows clients of all types to request and receive information about authenticated sessions and end-users from an authorized server or identity provider (IDP).
Here is how SSO works in KRIS:
- A “Login” button will be shown when users access KRIS Portal. Once users click on “Login”, they will be presented with multiple login options depending on the number of linked IDPs.
- To login to KRIS with SSO, users will need to select the IDP which they would want to sign in with and then they will be directed to selected IDP login portal. After successful login, users will be redirected back to KRIS portal and logged in.
